ABOUT US

New Orleans Fashion Week, a fashion and beauty event, draws attention and stimulates economic growth by merging these two industries on the runway and infusing them with the creative spirit of New Orleans. Through a Top Design Competition and support for local nonprofits, NOFW raises awareness, creates opportunities, and contributes to the Gulf Coast in a stylish manner.

Since 2011, NOFW has consistently recognized the shared connection between designers and boutiques. As the catalyst and driving force, NOFW brings together fashion professionals through a series of high-end runway shows, presentations, pop-up boutiques, networking opportunities, and social experiences. Fashion has rapidly become an integral part of New Orleans culture, celebrated alongside the city’s renowned cuisine, music, art, and film.

NOFW has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of many talented individuals. Anthony Ryan Auld, renowned for his fan-favorite role on season 9 of Project Runway and his victory in Project Runway All-Stars Season 2, participated in our esteemed Top Design Competition. Subsequently, Auld founded COULEUR + BLINDÉ, a fashion store that champions innovative ideas and products.

Another notable success story is Victoria Henley, a two-time New Orleans Fashion Week model. Henley’s remarkable journey includes her placement in the top 5 of America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 19, her role as an iHeart Radio Podcaster, and her published book, Model-Prenuer. Additionally, Henley established Magnifique, a comprehensive fashion, production, branding, and development company, where she has mentored over 6,000 models.

In just three years, NOFW was transformed into the most remarkable and comprehensive fashion event on the Gulf Coast. Fashion professionals, enthusiasts, and the media alike have embraced NOFW, which has garnered international recognition through coverage from esteemed outlets such as Women’s Wear Daily, Elle Magazine Quebec, and the Oxygen Network.

In 2025, the City of New Orleans recognized Tracee Dundas, founder and executive director of NOFW, with the prestigious Mayor’s Crystal Fleur De Lis Award for her career excellence and trailblazing achievements in building a fashion platform and community in New Orleans.

Over the course of its five-day event, NOFW hosts more than 40 runway shows, providing a platform for Southern designers, cosmetologists, and models to elevate the regional fashion industry's creative consciousness. The unwavering commitment of New Orleans Fashion Week to the entire fashion industry is evident in its vibrant, consistent production and support of fashion events throughout the year.
