For nearly two decades, Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds has been esteemed as a Style Expert, Educator and Influencer. Hammonds is the author of three celebrated style books: Prescriptions of Style, Refection of Style: A Philanthropic Glance at the Arts, and The Dandy Affair.
Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds is currently the Academic Program Coordinator over the Fashion Department at The Art Institute of Atlanta. Prior to his career with the Art Institute, he served as the Assistant Human Resource Manager for luxury retailer Neiman Marcus (Atlanta, Georgia).
He’s a sought after resource among the media and has been featured and quoted in Readers Digest, ABC, Bravo Network, TLC Network, Sheen Magazine, Modern Luxury Magazine and numerous other local and national outlets.
Tracee Dundas | NOFW Founder and Stylist
Founder and Creative Director of New Orleans Fashion Week (NOFW), Tracee Dundas has been a fashion pioneer since receiving her degree in Apparel Design/Fashion Merchandising from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. She owned and operated, ABOUTFACES Model & Talent Management one of the largest modeling agencies in Louisiana with an office in New Orleans and Lafayette. When not producing NOFW, Tracee works as a freelance stylist, contributing fashion editor to a number of fashion publications and as a designer/costumer for film, TV, and commercial productions.
Romey Roe | Fashion Designer
Romey studied Fashion Design at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His collections are inspired by all of his past life experiences using the heartache and happiness to inspire others. He has shown collections all throughout the gulf coast, graced the cover of VIE, Coastal Lifestyle, and Art and Design magazine. In addition , he has been giving a number of accolades. In 2014, he also interned during Mercedes Benz NYFW for Mark and Estel from L.A. and International designs Shane and Falguni Peacock.
Brik Allen | Project Runway
Designer Brik Allen took home both the Top Design Competition Award and the Yelp People’s Choice award at New Orleans Fashion Week 2016. Most recently Brik competed on Project Runway, making it to the top 10 in Lifetime’s most recent season. He currently designs for his line Haus of Brik, founded in 2015.
Dr. Lisa Barona McRoberts | LSU
Dr. Lisa Barona McRoberts received a master’s degree from LSU and a doctorate from FSU before completing a couture specialization in Paris. Lisa will represent LSU and the Louisiana Alligator Advisory Council in Beijing, China and at Dallas Career Day Competition to judge the eco-gator category she established.
Aimee Gowland& Corrie Pelegran | ALG Styles
Conceived in 2007, ALG Style’s mission is to teach men and women to “dress their best self.” Founders Aimée Gowland and Corrie Pellerin bring varied fashion experiences to the company; their distinctive viewpoints collectively provide intelligent, personal, insightful and on-trend information to clients both corporate and individual. Aimée was a buyer for a contemporary women’s market in NYC and managed a trend-setting women’s boutique before return home to New Orleans. Corrie received her degree in Fashion and Accessory Design from SCAD in Savannah, GA. Her years of experience in merchandising, retail, and the wedding industry has trained her to address the needs of the retailer and customer.
